SMALL GLUCOSAMINE STUDY MAY NOT CONSTITUTE A TRIAL
A new study of the efficacy of glucosamine supplements assumes, probably erroneously, that the arthritis remedy’s potential is indicated by blood levels following a single dose. The study’s outcome may also point to variations in the quality of commercially available supplements.
Glucosamine’s ability to relieve pain was never in question. It is well established that the supplement is one of the most effective ways to increase range of motion, possibly even encouraging new cartilage to form in damaged joints.
